Liz... alone... decided we needed to go to a luau.
Liz... alone... charged it to our room. All $300 of it.
If you only knew how many times we've been to luaus. How many times I've had to sample poi and eat terribly salty pork. Just not one of my favorite foods.
But, since I couldn't return the tickets (what were the odds anyway?) we attended the luau.
And here we are. The lady in the black and white dress learned a very valuable lesson earlier in the day. She discovered that Banana Boat spray on sunscreen doesn't work.
First up at the luau... free Pina Coladas. See that clear straw? That clear straw mean't that it was non-alcoholic. And that was just fine with me.
This is the drink I brought for Liz. Another free Pina Colada. Except see that red straw? That mean't it was NOT non-alcoholic. Liz got the one with the red straw. I didn't know there was a difference until it was too late.
Liz liked her drink. She thanked me.
And this is Oscar. He's the one in the middle. The salty one.
This is Liz. She was invited up on stage. She danced her heart out.
She danced so fast she was an absolute blur.
This is our souvenir photo. Only a mere $20. And compared to the price of the luau ticket, it was a steal.
Ooga, booga.

I get one with a red straw, too?
Man, it was good. And I was blurry when I danced too. Even when I lied down. Especially when I lied down.
