Toothbrushes needed
I just found this so funny... I mean, how do they know? Are those the dogs that don't go to their dentists regularly?
Should we take up a collection for Colgate Total, the one that prevents Gingevitis?
Last night, Rick announced that he needed a new toothbrush. Because his was no longer green in the middle. I studied his toothbrush and saw PLENTY of green bristles in the center of his brush.
"What are you talking about, Rick? I see almost nothing BUT green."
"But they used to be ALL green. And now they are slowly sinking away."
I looked at my brush, which is and was exactly like his... the bristles were green all over, too. And I showed him how the bristles of both brushes were still in fine, fine shape. His answer? "You need a new toothbrush, too."
And he proceeded to tell me how the green bristles in the middle sink down into the handle when you need a new brush. And his bristles had sunk quite a bit into his handle.
??
Never mind that the brush was built that way... with lower bristles in the middle. Never mind that the brush was NOT a magic wand and the bristles don't magically shrink into the handle. Never mind... oh never mind. He's not getting a new brush.
Unless, of course, he can prove that 4 out of 5 men over the age of three may have gum disease.
