You're wondering why I'm putting this post into parts, right? Well, even if you're not, I am. There's a method to my madness. Really there is.
And so we continue...
This is Junior now... I told you they were getting big!
"Peek A Boo, I See You!"
And before we knew it (like within a day or two or three) the kids were venturing out of the nest. They began to walk back and forth on our ledge. Either they were antsy to get out of their cramped quarters or they were curious to see what else was out there. Well, kids will be kids.
The above photo is what I saw when we arrived home from a grocery shopping trip. The below photo is the same scene being played out, but from inside our house now. The kids were so curious and so restless, that even our entry into the house didn't rattle them. They didn't race back to their nest... they stayed further out on the ledge and surveyed their new big world.
And life above the Kahle's doorstep was good.
We were very proud grandparents!
