It was Rick's night to cook. And I made sure that he actually took his turn at it. Normally he freezes up and calls me and begs me to tell him what to prepare. But tonight? He was on his own. And darn proud of it.
Look what I found sitting on the dinner table when I got home...
Sweet... He gave me my choice. I could have a complete carb dinner or a complete protein feast. Gosh. Hard to choose. Either Mac 'n' cheese and rice ... or beef stew and turkey. Tough to select since they both looked so awesome.
I never did pick. It didn't take me very long to figure out that this little dinner of Rick's would still have to be cooked by me.
And I'm a much better cook than that. I can cook a pretty mean pizza.
Me and Papa John that is.
