1) Hospital stays don't last forever.
2) Hospital stays feel like they're going to last forever.
3) Hospital stays are long forgotten when something funner comes along.
4) Something you've wanted for nearly 58 years just may actually come to you.
5) Something you've wanted for nearly 58 years may not be as scary as you think it will be.
6) Something you've wanted for so many years ... still may not feel like you've got it. You're brain may still be searching for it.
7) Milk spoils.
8) Eggs spoil.
9) Some children are spoiled ... but not yours. Or mine.
10) Being an empty-nester is awesome, except on Christmas day.
and
11) Something you've wanted for 58 years, that's going to appear on TV in three months ... WILL FEEL LIKE IT'S TAKING 58 YEARS TO HAPPEN.
It's going to be the longest 3 months of my life.
